| • Feelings and mood....
In her paintings the human body is used as an exspression of the feelings and mood.
"I looked at your work. Very realistic. The mood that I see in your work is a sense of deep loneliness. A soulful pain. A separation. There seems to be no connection, but a turning away from the viewer. It is as if a person was craving attention, but not at the expense of exposure. A nakedness, but a separation. Reaching outwardly, but pulling inwardly. Searching, but fearful of the unknown. The truth, ever so near. A heartbeat away."
Linda Owen Mason
" Your collection is like sculptures in oil... Smooth, delicate and tender, even when the emotions dictated are of sorrow and loss."
"Your work speaks volumes without even needing titles. Your art is so beautiful and painful all at once. I can identify."
Jeni Fitts
"You have mastered your style. You have a great eye for how the painting should be layed out: The perspective and cut-off points of view - how you isolate the human forms."
Mark Newton
"It is very expressive. You capture your viewers with your work.It is rich in emotion...maybe a bit of sadness or loneliness in some of the paintings."
Tanja Lettner
"Compositionally intimate, and the feeling comes put very easily. You paint marvelous 'pieces' of poeple's emotional body language that is spoken with eloquence."
